Apartment La Cueva

If you’re looking for centrally located accommodation in Artenara, as a point to set off from on a different trail every day, along the many paths on offer in the municipality, this is your best option. La Solanita Holiday Home is right in the centre of Artenara old town, and has views of the bell-tower of the Church of St Matías, the town swimming pool and the Corazón de Jesús monument high up on La Cilla Mountain. The bus stop is just in front of the house, and the house is ideal for couples or families with its one bedroom with one double bed and a single bed. This simple house also has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with television and air conditioning, and a bathroom with shower. There’s free wi-fi too! Children are not allowed (because of lack of space), nor are pets.

There’s a small terrace at the entrance, with loungers and a sunshade, as well as a portable barbecue. Sharing the terrace and next door to this apartment is La Cueva, another holiday home with similar features.

You’re only a few minutes’ walk to the town’s supermarkets, restaurants, bank, post office and Town Hall, as well as the Tourist Centre for Risco Caído and the Montañas Sagradas de Gran Canaria (recently declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), or the Artenara Casas Cueva (Cave Houses) Ethnographic Museum.

Without minimum stay except specific dates.

We accept short-stay bookings in our properties, although stays of less than a week cannot be confirmed until a month before the date of arrival. In these cases you can let us know that you want to stay and we will take your details, if you wish, so that we can get in touch with you on the date when your booking can be confirmed, if the property is still available. On that day we will begin to call applicants in the order in which they requested availability.

NOTICE for bookings less than 24 hours in advance: Please contact us by phone (0034 686795849) if you want to make a booking to arrive within less than 24 hours. This will enable us to serve you more rapidly and manage your booking as soon as possible.

Payment methods:

50% of the amount of the stay at the time of booking confirmation (a card details will be requested for collection).
50% at the time of key handover, in cash or by credit card.

Cancellation policy

Up to 10 days prior to arrival date: The client is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid except 2% for commissions.
10 days or less prior to arrival or no show: The client is not entitled to a refund of the amount paid.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.

Cleaning: A free cleaning is included for stays longer than 7 nights. Additional cleaning can be requested at the client’s expense, being the extra cost of 30 euros.

IMPORTANT: In case of a FOREST FIRE RISK ALERT or HIGH TEMPERATURE ALERT, the use of the barbecue is prohibited, as indicated by the Canary Islands Government.
